Prior to joining Sweeney Lev, Marissa was the Corporate Counsel of Sequel Concepts, Inc., a software, telecommunications and technology consulting firm. Marissa also served as the
chief attorney for Justice Florentino Feliciano of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 1989 - 1992.
Marissa specializes in corporate and business, employment and corporate immigration law at Sweeney Lev. She prepares a variety of technology agreements, including software and
network development agreements, licensing agreements, vendor contracts, marketing and distribution arrangements, e-commerce/Internet agreements and other general business
contracts. She also represents corporate clients and individuals on a variety of employment matters, preparing employment, consulting, non-competition and non-solicitation
agreements, employment manuals and procedures, and structuring termination programs and severance agreements and releases.
Marissa is a graduate of the University of the Philippines (B.A. 1983 and L.L.B. 1988) and earned a Master of Laws degree from the University of Washington Law School (L.L.M.
1993). She is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the Philippines.
